Manufacturing & Distribution
A working layer on top of an existing ERP

Overview
The group runs three businesses on one ERP, but quotes, jobs and stock were all handled by hand around it. We built a layer on top that turns drawings into quotes, tracks every job on a pipeline board and works out what to reorder. The ERP is still the system of record.
Pain points
- Estimating from a drawing took days.
- More than 100 consumables have 8-10 week lead times, and they kept running out without warning.
- Jobs stalled between teams because nobody owned the follow-up.
What we built
- 01
Estimates and quotes
It reads load drawings, finds similar past quotes and pulls current rates from the ERP. Someone can send a voice note and get a draft quote back in minutes.
- 02
Pipeline board
Every job from enquiry to dispatch. A job can't move to the next stage until its documents are attached, and anything stuck shows up in the daily summary.
- 03
Par stock and reordering
Par levels are set from three years of stock movement. Procurement gets one buy list a week, and dead stock is flagged.
- 04
Dispatch and field sales
Short picks are caught before the truck leaves. Sales visits are logged with a location pin.

Before
Quotes were done by hand, stock was tracked from memory and jobs were chased over the phone.
After
The team works from one dashboard, and the ERP is still the system of record.
