Daily task tracking for a footwear and apparel store
Footwear & apparel store · North India
- confirmed with a photo
- Every task
- of escalation: staff, manager, owner
- 3 levels
- until the core system was live
- 14 days
Overview
This store only kept up its standards when the owner was on the floor. Each staff member now gets the day's tasks on their phone in Hindi and replies with a photo when a task is done. Missed tasks escalate, and everything rolls up into one dashboard for the owner. The core system went live in 14 days.
Pain points
- Displays, restocking and cleaning slipped whenever the owner stepped out.
- The only thing measured was who closed shoe sales.
- Everything else was done from memory, with no way to check.
What we built
- 01
Morning task lists in Hindi
Each person gets their list on their phone, with no app to install and no login, and replies with a photo.
- 02
Escalating reminders
If a task isn't done, the reminder goes to the staff member, then the manager, then the owner.
- 03
Scorecard and daily sales
A weekly task score with a small reward, and everyone logs their sales for the day.
- 04
Pattern alerts
For example, mirrors skipped on 4 of 5 days, always on the same shift. It's the kind of thing that's easy to miss on a walk-through.
How it works
- 01Owner sets the routine
- 02Tasks sent
- 03Photo reply
- 04Escalated if late
- 05Dashboard
Before
The shop only ran properly when the owner was in it.
After
The system keeps track, and the owner gets their time back.
